Long Obedience in the Same Direction

The story of the Budapest city network (Budapest+) is the story of "long obedience in the same direction." City networks in Europe are often fragile - could spring up beautifully but then disappear unexpectedly. Our experience has been similar - but it seems that walking the same direction starts producing fruits. In this talk I share some reasons why network building takes time and persistence and share some of the highlights of our experience.
