Maximising Women’s Gifts for Gospel Impact in the Church

Breakout Session
11:00 - 12:00
, November 18
November 18

Probably your church, like mine, is more than half made up of women. Young women, single women, married women, mothers, workers, retired women busy serving in a variety of ways. Indispensable. But are they reaching their full potential as partners in the gospel? Do they mostly help with practical jobs and children's ministry, whereas some of them have the spiritual maturity and wisdom that would be precious in teaching, discipling and training others, sharing the pastor's load and reaching new people?

We all want to work side by side, not in competition but harnessing all the potential God has gifted to his church. In this session we will consider what that looks like in the local church and how can we train women in bible-teaching skills and help them to grow in confidence as they serve.
